CUSTOM STL MOLD DESIGN · FOR POUR ARTISTS
Custom STL mold design
for sand casting silver.
Custom printable casting patterns and bas-relief STL designs for silver pour artists. Print your mold master, then use it to form your sand mold.
Designed by someone
who actually pours.
I’m Brandon, the maker behind TxLooT. I’ve spent the time developing a mold-master process around what we need at the sand bench: easier release, cleaner edges, smoother surfaces, and detail that works at the size we’re pouring.
Now I’m offering custom STL design for other pour artists. Bring your idea, sketch, or reference. We’ll design a master around the piece you want to make.

WHAT WE CAN CUSTOMIZE
More control.
Less fighting the master.
Easier sand release
Silhouettes, sidewalls, and potential undercuts considered together to help the master pull cleanly.
Custom relief depth
Choose a shallower relief or a more dimensional look, with detail adapted to the intended size.
Backing & thickness
Backing thickness and total depth planned around strength, handling, and your preferred molding process.
Size & target weight
Build toward your intended dimensions or silver-weight range. Final cast weight depends on the master and molding process.
Clean edges & smooth surfaces
Reduce rough outlines and unnecessary texture while preserving the details that give the design its character.
Personal details
Discuss lettering, a logo, or maker’s mark as part of the artwork, where size and casting practicality allow.

Am I buying a digital file or a physical mold?
This service focuses on custom digital STL mold-master files. You print the master and use it to form your sand mold. A physical printed master can be discussed separately.
Can you design around a small pour?
Yes. Detail, silhouette, backing, and depth can be planned around a smaller finished piece, including a target weight range.
Can I use the design to make pours for sale?
Tell me how you intend to use it. Commercial usage, exclusivity, and any restrictions are agreed as part of the quote.
How fast can I get my STL?
Turnaround depends on design complexity and the current queue. Send your idea and I’ll confirm timing with the quote.
Designed for easier release; final results depend on the design, print, sand, molding technique, metal, and pouring conditions.
